These charts present U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics industry projections data for regional industry portfolios. On the second tab the histogram charts show the growth rates for portfolio industries within the context of growth rates across all industries. The pie charts show the composition of growth rates across the portfolio industies. A diverse portfolio will include industries from growth to mature and decline stages, providing a local area with continuous and stable long-term cycles of prosperity. The growth rates for the loca industry portfolio as a whole are shown on the third tab within the context of the distribution of growth rates across all local areas.
